While we were examining Oozil’s content, a woman from Siemens came over and started talking about their new single–vendor videoconferencing system and how it would be a great tool for Oozil to supply to its community and to further their “Democratization of Creativity. “With Siemens OpenScape Video, now, any level of employee is able to participate in a videoconference. OpenScape Video endpoints are affordable, so investment in videoconferencing is a viable option to enable all levels of the enterprise to use.”(Siemens’ website). This new tool will allow for the expansion of community discourse. It will be in symbiotic relationship with Oozil’s message.

   Now I consider me and my friends to be of the creative nature, with many creative ideas but  limited avenues to express ourselves freely. Oozil is the first social networking site that we have seen that pays for your creativity. We have spent hours on Facebook, MySpcae, Linkedin, and other sites divulging our creative ideas but for what?  These sites are good for catching up, not cashing in like Oozil. I am so stoked about working with Oozil to spread the gospel of creativity.  Just thought I would let you know that Oozil is being talked about.

   Would this new videoconferencing site fit in with Oozil’s strategy?

As to the question “If you could choose just one creative tool, which one would you choose?”, the answer, for me, is simple.

Pen and paper. Although it could also be a laptop, or even a sharp stick and a wet clump of mud.

What's most important is getting the idea that's in your brain out of your brain and written/drawn somewhere it can be seen and reacted to. If a tree falls in the forest, who knows if it makes a sound? If a brilliant idea never gets heard or seen, who knows what it could do? (Or how much you can sell it for!)

The biggest upside of Oozil that I anticipate is that it's a way to get those ideas out of the dusty ol' brain they're stuck in, and out into the world.

 If it weren’t for the right tools and community involvement, many incredible events and inventions would’ve never been: Noah’s Ark, Stonehenge, the Internet, Wall Street (great movie)… just to name a few.  Tools and creative community involvement are the threads that bind ingenuity. “Tools to creative persons are like paints to Van Gogh.”   So, ask yourself, would you like to be an integral player in the democratization of creativity and at the same time earn revenue for yourself by utilizing your abilities and experience? You can become a Creative Crusader who battles against mundane messages and assists in the formation of a global creative community.

The globalization of creative thinkers will help in the structuring of our clients’ messages to leverage sales and increase profit flow; thus, allowing for a creative community to permeate the written and spoken world. The creative thinker will disseminate their message about various useful tools and resources that are beneficial to all seekers of Oozil’s help. Just think, where would chimps and gorillas be without Jane Goodall and her team’s tools? 

But the 1,000,000 dollar question still remains, what tools are vital to the creative process? What tools will promote our audiences’ ability to Think, Feel and Do? Are some resources more applicable in the creative field, as apposed to the scientific ones? Metaphorically speaking, we need everyone to divulge valuable information about the tools needed to be successfully creative, so we can fill our toolbox.   

What tools would you like to see Oozil provide for its Citizens? Is a learning tool the most effective? If you could chose just one creative tool, which one would you chose?
